VARANASI, Dec. 3 -- Union MoS for information and broadcasting and parliamentary affairs L Murugan on Tuesday said Kashi Tamil Sangamam (KTS 4.0), an important initiative of PM Narendra Modi, will further strengthen the centuries-old cultural ties between Kashi and Tamil Nadu. He was addressing a gathering after inaugurating a photo exhibition organised by the Central Bureau of Communication at the event that started at Namo Ghat in Varanasi during the day. The Union minister said KTS 4.0 strengthens the unity and integrity of the nation. Portraits of great personalities from Tamil Nadu such as sage Agastya, poets-seers Avvaiyar, Thiruvalluvar, Karaikal Ammaiyar, Ramalinga Swamigal, mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, Chakravarti Rajagopalachari, second President of India Dr S Radhakrishnan. Portraits of inventor and industrialist GD Naidu, theoretical physicist Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar, father of the Green Revolution in India Dr MS Swaminathan, former Indian President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam among others have also been displayed at the exhibition.
