'RSS runs on the emotional strength of its volunteers'
Jaipur, Nov. 17 -- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said the organisation draws its strength entirely from the "emotional resolve and life force" of its volunteers.
Addressing a gathering during the release of the book, titled, Aur Yah Jeevan Samarpit, in Jaipur, Bhagwat said every swayamsevak becomes a pracharak through his mindset and commitment, and this spirit is the true lifeline of the RSS.
"The Sangh runs on the emotional strength and life-force of its volunteers. By their mindset alone, every swayamsevak becomes a pracharak. That is the Sangh's life energy," he said.
Bhagwat said that RSS has grown significantly over the years, with improved working conditions. "But, with these advantages come many challenges. We must remain the same as we were during times of opposition and neglect. It is with the same emotional strength that the organisation will continue to move forward," he said.
The RSS chief said that the organisation's work today is a subject of public discussion and goodwill. "What our volunteers and pracharaks have done is being acknowledged everywhere. A 100 years ago, who could have imagined that a simple branch activity would contribute to nation building?...
