'Pay more attention to cleanliness of trains'
VARANASI, Aug. 24 -- Executive director (public grievances) of Railway Board, Vikas Kumar Jain, on Saturday, instructed all OBHS (Onboard Housekeeping Service) employees to pay more attention to the cleanliness of the trains. Jain gave instructions after inspecting the cleanliness of all the coaches of train number 20175 Banaras-Agra Vande Bharat Express. He also inspected the site of the proposed signature bridge to be built on the Ganga here.
According to public relations officer Ashok Kumar, the Jain was in Varanasi on a daylong visit. During the visit, he inspected the passenger facilities at Banaras Railway Station along with Divisional Railway Manager Varanasi Ashish Jain.
During the inspection, he thoroughly inspected the passenger amenities available at Banaras station such as circulating area, lift, automatic stairs, waiting room, restroom, food stall, water booth, digital charting, CCTV monitoring system, passenger benches on platforms and passenger shed.
In the review meeting, additional divisional railway manager (Operations) Rajesh Kumar Singh gave a power point presentation about various railway projects going on in Varanasi Division, including construction of bridges, overbridges, etc....
