Lucknow, June 28 -- The Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has become a symbol of global devotion with more than 5.5 crore devotees paying obeisance to Ram Lalla after opening of Ram Mandir on January 22, 2024. The temple's grand structure and spiritual significance have made it a major pilgrimage site, attracting not only ordinary devotees but also VIPs. According to the state government, around 5.5 crore pilgrims and 4.5 lakh VIPs, including central ministers, state governors, chief ministers, and celebrities from the film and sports industries, have visited the Ram Mandir. Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan and cricket legends like Sachin Tendulkar attended the temple's inauguration ceremony. Other notable visitors include Govinda, Anushka Sharma, and Virat Kohli.
