'Mental health collective responsibility'
LUCKNOW, Oct. 11 -- A national CME was organised at Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS) on World Mental Health Day, highlighted concerns about mental health and emphasised holistic treatment.
Experts discussed various aspects of mental health, with director Prof CM Singh noting that 60-65% of mental health patients in India lack proper treatment, calling it a significant challenge, a release read.
Dr Jilani AQ expressed concern over rising mental health issues across age groups, citing performance pressure, screen addiction, unemployment, and loneliness as major factors.
