'May new Bihar govt live up to hopes of people'
PATNA, Nov. 21 -- RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday said he hoped the new Bihar government, formed under chief minister Nitish Kumar's leadership, would "live up to the expectations and aspirations of the people".
The former deputy CM, who was the chief ministerial face of the opposition INDIA bloc, was not seen at the swearing-in ceremony of CM Nitish Kumar and his cabinet colleagues at Gandhi Maidan.
In a post on his X handle, Yadav said, "Heartfelt congratulations to esteemed Shri Nitish Kumar Ji on taking the oath of office as the chief minister of Bihar. Heartfelt best wishes to all the ministers of the Bihar government who took the oath as members of the Council of Ministers."
"I hope that the new government will live up to the hopes and expectations of responsible people, fulfill its promises and declarations, and bring positive and qualitative changes in lives of the people of Bihar," Yadav added....
