Agra, July 9 -- The ill-fated 52-seater air conditioned bus from Lucknow was originally scheduled for Ghazipur, but it set out for the National Capital after a last-minute arrangement to accommodate the rush of Delhi-bound passengers at Alambagh bus stand in Lucknow, said those injured in the mishap.

These people were undergoing treatment at Sri Krishna Hospital in trans-Yamuna area of Agra.

Most of the passengers were asleep in the wee hours of Monday when tragedy struck the vehicle while it was moving on the Yamuna Expressway.
