VARANASI, April 30 -- Former Rajasthan governor Kalraj Mishra said efforts to reestablish India's eternal culture and knowledge tradition were underway to make the country a 'vishwa guru' (world leader). He was speaking during the annual function of Akhil Bharatiya Manishi Parishad (ABMP), an organisation of intellectuals and scholars on several subjects, at Sarnath on Monday. ABMP vice president Shashi Mishra said the organisation would work to promote the Indian knowledge tradition and help the meritorious students from economically weaker sections.
