NEW DELHI, Nov. 20 -- Uttar Pradesh minister of state (independent charge) for social welfare and SC/ST welfare Asim Arun appealed to the industry to have faith in the state's industrial development and growth trajectory and also look towards it as an investment destination. "Uttar Pradesh is striking a balance between sustainable development and human index development," Arun said while speaking at the '22nd Indo-US Economic Summit 2025' in New Delhi on Tuesday. The minister also outlined Uttar Pradesh's 'Zero Poverty Scheme', under which every village identifies 25 vulnerable families and addresses key gaps in land ownership, education, health, and livelihood.
