Two IPS among eight police officers shifted in J&K
Jammu, July 29 -- The home secretary Chandrekar Bharti on Monday ordered the transfer of two IPS and over six police officers with immediate effect.
Vinod Kumar, IPS (2011 batch), DIG, Armed Jammu, has been transferred and posted as DIG, IRP Jammu, against an available vacancy.
Sameer Sharma, IPS (2011), awaiting posting, has been posted as DIG Armed Jammu.
Ramban senior superintendent of police (SSP), Kulbir Singh, JKPS (1999 batch), has been transferred and posted as director, commando training Centre, Lethpora, against an available vacancy.
Randeep Kumar JKPS (1999) SSP Security headquarters, J&K, has been transferred and posted as SSP PTWS Jammu, against an available vacancy.
Arun Gupta, JKPS (2001) SSP SB CID Jammu has been transferred and posted as SSP Ramban vice Kulbir Singh.
Liaqat Ali, JKPS (2001) SO to Commandant General HG/CD/SDRF, J&K, is transferred and posted as SSP PTWS Kashmir, against an available vacancy.
Jameel Ahmad, JKPS (2001) principal STC Sheeri, shall hold the charge of the post of Commandant IR-13, in addition to his own duties. Mohammad Tafi Giri, JKPS (2008), Dy.CO 2nd Border Bn has been transferred and posted as SO to Commandant General HG/CD/SDRF, J&K vice Liaqat Ali.
Sunil Kumar Kesar, JKPS (2011) Additional SP (Ops) Doda, has been transferred and posted as Dy.CO IR-15, against an available vacancy. Zahid Aziz Samoon, JKPS (2011) Dy.SP (Ops) Pulwama, has been transferred and posted as Dy.CO IR-17 against an available vacancy.
In an order, Dr. Sunil Gupta, IPS (2005), has been relieved from the post of IGP Crime J&K to enable him to take up a new assignment outside the UT.
Consequently, Sujit Kumar, IPS (2007), currently serving as IGP Security J&K, has been given the additional charge of IGP Crime J&K until further order....
