DHARAMSHALA, March 25 -- The 69-year-old Tibetan man who died of coronavirus at Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda on Monday hid his travel history to the US, the district authorities said.
He landed at the Delhi airport on March 15 and had flu-like symptoms. He stayed at Majnu-ka-Tilla, a Tibetan settlement in Delhi for a week. He reached McLeodganj on March 21 in a taxi and self-quarantined at home along with three family members but did not disclose his travel history to the administration.
He developed acute respiratory distress on March 23 and was rushed to a private hospital at Kangra town.
Eventually, he was shifted to Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda where he died in casualty. His family has ...
