Shimla, Nov. 6 -- Lashing out at Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president, Rajiv Bindal, terming the Congress government in the state as "most incompetent" government in the history of the state. He was speaking at the BJP's two-day state-level workshop that began under the chairmanship of Bindal on Wednesday in Baddi. Hitting out at the Congress party, Bindal said, "Congress party came to power three years ago under a veil of lies, deceit, and fraud. For three years, they have severely harassed and defrauded unemployed youth and people of the state." "Congress had promised the 15 lakh unemployed youth in the state, 1 lakh government jobs in their first cabinet and 5 lakh jobs in five years, not a single person has found employment today. "Despite taking on massive loans, the state's development has come to a complete standstill, with roads and drinking water schemes broken. Thousands of families remain homeless today due to the mismanagement of the disaster. The favouritism in governance makes this government the most incompetent in history." said Bindal adding, Leader of the Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, while addressing a workshop in Baddi, said that an express train of lies is running in Himachal. It is engaged in lying in every state it visits. Jai Ram called the Congress promises a "bundle of false guarantees," saying that the Congress can never fulfill its promises. He said that Congress came to power on false guarantees, and now, after forming the government, has shelved the promises. The Leader of the Opposition claimed, "Due to the financial crisis, the Congress government is unable to pay salaries to employees or pay contractors for their work, which has stalled development work in the state."...
