Jammu, May 24 -- The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Friday carried out raids at 18 locations across four districts in the Jammu region and recovered substantial incriminating materials, said officials. The raids were executed simultaneously by specialised teams, supported by local police and magistrates, as part of the agency's ongoing campaign to dismantle sleeper cells and disrupt terror networks in the region, an official spokesperson said. Of the 18 locations, 12 were in Surankote subdivision and three in Haveli tehsil of Poonch district. Operations were carried out at one location each in Rajouri town, Ramnagar in Udhampur district and Ramban. The seized material is under scrutiny and further investigation is underway, the spokesperson said, and added that multiple suspects were summoned to join the investigation.
