Srinagar, May 1 -- More areas have been brought under the search and cordon operations by the army and police as the hunt for Pahalgam attackers continues in south Kashmir and parts of Kishtwar, officials aware of the developements said. Army officials, requesting not to be named, said they have started search operations in forests of Warvan, Kishtwar, which connects south Kashmir and Pahalgam. Army reinforcements have also been sent to Pahalgam and its adjoining areas, and units have been deployed in the vicinity , Anantnag, Warwan, Kistwar and Kokernag areas, the officials said.
