Srinagar, Dec. 27 -- MP Aga Ruhullah on Friday warned of another protest outside the chief minister's house on Sunday on the reservation issue asking the government to talk to students and apprise them of measures being taken to resolve the issue. "I have neither forgotten nor left the students alone. I urge the government once again to talk to the students and apprise them of the measures and decisions taken to resolve this issue. If that does not happen till Saturday, I will not leave our youth and students helpless. I will walk with them and sit with them on this coming Sunday at the same place as we did the last year on 23rd December to make them heard," Aga Ruhullah wrote on X. In another post, Ruhullah had said that J&K government is adopting delaying tactics and asked CM Omar Abdullah to meet the students. "What will it take for those in the government to understand the agony and hopelessness that our aspiring youths are facing? What will make them understand that this is suffocating an entire young generation and pushing them to walls? Doesn't even today's case in Vaishno Devi University about the students with merit open their eyes and feel the urgency to resolve this matter and give some relief to our youth?" he wrote. Meanwhile, National Conference spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq on Friday reiterated that the file related to reservation is lying with Lok Bhavan for nod of the lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha. "The cabinet has already decided on the reservation based on what we had promised in our manifesto. The rationalisation of reservation was important and file has been sent to the Lok Bhavan," Sadiqsaid. Last year also Ruhullah, who is senior NC leader, held protest outside the house of CM Abdullah on the issue. "Last year they said 6 months. Those 6 months have turned into a year. Few weeks ago before Budgam assembly election they said few days without letting anyone know whether they have resolved the issue or not. Those few days are now turning into more than a month....if after the conclusion of this Parliament session on the December 20 this issue is not resolved. I will sit with them again the way we did the last December. And this time itwill not be for a day only," Ruhullah had written on X in November.htc...
