Srinagar, Aug. 10 -- : Police on Saturday detained a habitual offender involved in selling counterfeit gold under the Public Safety Act (PSA) in Anantnag. Police termed it as a significant step towards curbing fraudulent activities and protecting the interests of the public and have detained a habitual offender involved in the sale of counterfeit gold under the PSA. Police spokesperson said the accused identified as Showkat Ahmad Zargar of Bijbehara presently at Shamsipora, have been booked under the provisions of the PSA for his repeated involvement in selling counterfeit gold. htc...
