Police attach property of terrorist in Banihal
Jammu, June 12 -- Ramban police on Wednesday attached property of a terrorist in Banihal area under Section 83 CrPC, said officials.
"Ramban police has attached immovable property, i.e., agricultural land measuring 1 Kanals 1 Marla registered in the name of a terrorist identified as Mohammad Saleem, son of Abdul Hanif Tantray, a resident of Takia Tethar in Banihal area," said a police officer.
The terrorist is hiding in Pakistan. "He was involved in an FIR of Banihal police station and is absconding after the commission of offence with a motive to avoid the legal proceedings," said the officer.
A court issued orders for attachment of property after declaring him proclaimed offender.
The attachment of property is linked to case FIR number 101/1992 under Section 436 RPC and section 3/4 TADA of Banihal police station and wasexecuted in presence by a police team and in presence of an executive magistrate, he added.htc...
