Rudrapur, Oct. 11 -- A pangolin was rescued from a house in Udham Singh Nagar district's Kichha area on Thursday, forest officials said.

"I have received information that a crocodile had entered a house in Indira Nagar colony of Kichha. We rushed to the spot but found it was pangolin. We rescued it and released in the nearby forest," said Anil Joshi, range officer, Dolly Forest Range in US Nagar.

The pangolin had entered Wahid Hussain's house and created panic in the family. People informed the forest officials calling that a crocodile had entered a house located in Indira Nagar Colony of Kichha. Forest official reached the spot and found that it was Pangolin.
