Dharamshala, June 4 -- A news channel owner has been caught red-handed reportedly while taking Rs.2 lakh as "extortion" money by the state vigilance and anti-corruption bureau. The northern range, Dharamshala, of the bureau on Tuesday said Amir Chand Dogra of "A Star News" channel of Kangra was caught while taking Rs.2 lakh from Bhuvnesh Chand Sood of Palampur. "He had threatened the complainant to tarnish his image by broadcasting a video clip on social media regarding land purchased in Palampur by his son.
