Srinagar, Nov. 20 -- J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah, Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann and Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal participated in nagar kirtan at Gurdwara Chhevin Patshahi in Srinagar on Wednesday as hundreds of devotees began their journey towards Punjab's Anandpur Sahib. The event is being organised by the Punjab government to commemorate the 350th death anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur. Officials said that some 500 people left from Srinagar in various vehicles. "The procession will reach Anandpur Sahib on Monday," they said. The jatha is expected to pass through Jammu, Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Dasuya and Ghar-shankar to finally reach Anandpur Sahib. Earlier CM Omar, Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann attended the nagar kirtan along with Punjab cabinet ministers at Gurdwara Chatti Patshahi in Srinagar. Punjab minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that CM Omar, his cabinet members and MPs, participated in the event in Srinagar. "The atmosphere was of harmony as all Hindus, Muslims and Sikh were present to start this Kirtan," he said. "We are doing a three day session at Anandpur Sahib. History will be discussed. One day will be for 'dharam sammelan' to discuss that those dividing people on the basis of religion have no place here. Those believing in communal harmony and mutual existence will be taken along for the discussion," Cheema said. Kejriwal, Mann and many of his cabinet ministers had reached Srinagar on Tuesday to join the 'sangat' in a 'kirtan darbar' at the gurdwara....
