Dharamshala, Nov. 22 -- A construction labourer was killed and three others were injured after the shuttering of an under-construction indoor stadium collapsed in Chamba town of Himachal Pradesh, said police on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Tarkeshwar, 34, of Bihar. The injured have been identified as Lalu Kumar, 24, Dinbandhu, and Balkeshwar, 35. They were all residents of Bihar. Police officials said that slab-laying work in the first floor was underway and on Thursday evening, the wooden beams used to support the shuttering suddenly broke causing the slab to collapse onto the workers below. Tarkeshwar was reportedly checking the shuttering while other workers were pouring the concrete mix when the shuttering gave way. Fellow workers rushed to rescue Tarkeshwar and the others from the debris and immediately took them to the Chamba medical college. Despite efforts, Tarkeshwar succumbed to his injuries. Additional superintendent of police Hitesh Lakhanpal said that police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and were investigating the matter....
