Mumbai, Jan. 13 -- Pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been awarded the prestigious Polly Umrigar Award for being the best international cricketer (2018-19) at the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) annual awards on Sunday.

The pacer, who made his Test debut during India's tour of South Africa in January 2018, has picked up five-wicket hauls in South Africa, England, Australia and the West Indies - becoming the first and only Asian bowler to achieve the feat.

Since his debut, the 26-year-old has 62 wickets to his name in the longest format of the game while he has taken 103 in 58 ODIs.
