Jammu, Oct. 17 -- Dr Pankajvir Singh, an orthopaedic surgeon from district Poonch in Jammu province, has brought pride to the region by serving as a sports medicine expert and on-field orthopaedic surgeon at the World Para Athletics Championship held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi, from September 27 to October 5. Selected by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI), Dr Pankajvir Singh became the first orthopaedician from the Jammu region to serve at this prestigious international event.
