SRINAGAR, April 20 -- Arjun Chau-tala, the younger son of Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader Abhay Chautala, was declared on Friday as party's candidate for the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha seat for the coming polls. The INLD also named its two other candidates - Dharambir Fauji from Rohtak and Balwan Singh Fauji from Bhiwani-Mahendergarh. Both of them are ex-serviceman.Arjun, 27, was initiated into active politics by his father Abhay Chautala about six months ago after the family feud in the INLD which led to loss of young leaders like Dushyant and Digvijay, who along with their father Ajay Chautala floated their own political outfit Jannayak Janata Party (JJP). The vertical split in the INLD was caused after party supremo Om Prakash Chautala had expelled the trio from the party. While BJP's sitting MLA Nayab Saini is contesting Lok Sabha poll from Kurukshtra, which has a major chunk of other backward classes (OBCs), the Congress is yet to name its candidate from this seat.
