Jammu, July 23 -- A delegation of the People of India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PIOCCI) on Tuesday called on Ladakh lieutenant governor Kavinder Gupta in New Delhi to discuss foreign investments and boost economic development in the Union Territory. The meeting aimed to explore collaborative opportunities for promoting foreign investments across diverse sectors in Ladakh. The PIOCCI delegation, led by secretary general Kirti Sharma and including Lalit Mahajan, informed that the PIOCCI would soon organise a global investment summit exclusively focused on Ladakh. The LG highlighted Ladakh's immense investment potential. He specifically mentioned key areas including eco-tourism and sustainable hospitality, renewable energy, etc. Gupta, also paid obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Bangla Sahib in New Delhi. Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee president Harmeet Singh Kalka and general secretary Jagdip Singh Kahlon honored Gupta by presenting him a siropa.
