Shimla, Dec. 9 -- The Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) that was dissolved in November last year will be reconstituted within the next three months and will include senior leaders and youth. This was stated state Congress president Vinay Kumar, during an interaction with mediapersons on Monday after a detailed discussion with chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu regarding the Jan Sankalp Samelan in Mandi on December 11 and the "Vote Chor-Gaddi Chhod" mega rally in New Delhi on December 14. The HPCC has been lying defunct since November last year after party's national president Mallikarjun Kharge dissolved the committee on November 6, 2024, along with the district and block units. Kumar said, "The appointments of district presidents will be made by the party high command, after which block presidents will also be appointed. The entire PCC executive committee will be constituted within the next three months. It will include senior leaders as well as the youth". He added, "More than 2,500 party workers from the state, along with party leaders, will participate in the Congress mega rally being held at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi on December 14, under the "Vote Chor-Gaddi Chhod" rally....
