SHIMLA, Feb. 14 -- As the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh received fresh snowfall, temperature began to rise across the state on Thursday.

Maximum temperature in the state was three to four degrees above normal while the minimum temperature was four to five degrees above normal.

Fresh snowfall occurred in Lahaul-Spiti and Kullu. Precipitation occurred throughout the state during the last 24 hours. Weather was mostly sunny in Shimla.

The state's capital witnessed a maximum temperature of 19.7degC while the minimum temperature recorded was 11.9degC. Kufri recorded maximum temperature of 9.2degC and minimum temperature of 6.8degC.
