Himachal's youth will get better facilities for start-ups, says Butail
Dharamshala, Oct. 29 -- Gokul Butail, principal adviser (digital technology, innovation and governance), to Himachal chief minister on Tuesday said that the Himachal Pradesh government is establishing two software technology parks of India (STPI) incubation centres, one at Mehli in Shimla and the other in Kangra, to promote information technology investment in the state. Addressing media after inspecting the IT Park Chetru, (Kangra) Gokul Butail, said that the construction of the STPI Incubation Centre in Kangra is nearly complete, and it will be inaugurated by the CM soon. "This will provide better facilities for young people in the IT sector. It has been developed as Himachal's largest IT incubation centre," he said. Butail said centres like STPI Kangra and Shimla will break new ground in the field of information technology in the state. "This will not only increase investment but also provide a platform for the state's young entrepreneurs to realise their ideas. With these two centres in Shimla and Kangra operational, Himachal will soon establish itself as an emerging IT hub in North India," he said....
