Ahmedabad, May 20 -- Gujarat minister Bachubhai Khabad's son and four others were arrested on Monday for their alleged role in Rs.71-crore irregularities in the implementation of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in Dahod district, police said. The action against Khabad's son Kiran came two days after police took his elder brother Balvant into custody in the same case. Both brothers were on the run for the last three weeks, a police officer said, adding that 12 people have been arrested in the case so far.
