Srinagar, Dec. 4 -- A rumour about a grenade attack inside a prominent missionary school in north Kashmir's Baramulla town left parents worried on Tuesday. However, on visiting the school they found it to be a hoax call.

On Tuesday morning, rumours spread in north Kashmir that a grenade attack had taken place inside Saint Joseph's Higher Secondary School in Baramulla town. More than 3,000 students from north Kashmir are enrolled in the school. Parents and relatives of students rushed to the school to find out that the information was false.

Some parents travelled from the neighbouring Sopore town to check whether the students were safe and many called the local administration to know about the attack.
