JAMMU, Dec. 18 -- The government of Jammu and Kashmir, on Wednesday constituted a high-level enquiry committee to probe the selection process of the J&K football team for participation in the 79th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy 2025. The committee will be headed by director general, youth services and sports, J&K, Anuradha Gupta, JKAS. The panel has been directed to submit its report within seven days. A fresh row has erupted over selection of the J&K soccer team for the Santosh trophy tournament. A total of 74 boys were shortlisted from Jammu region and 24 from Kashmir region.
