Srinagar, Nov. 20 -- Hundreds of villagers on Wednesday converged at Babanagri in Ganderbal district to pay tributes to Bilal Ahmad Sangoo who lost his life in Delhi Red Fort blast.He was undergoing treatment but later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Bilal was working as a labourer in Delhi. He belonged to very poor family and was staying in national capital to earn livelihood from past six years. The family identified him and contacted Ganderbal police which contacted Delhi police and on Wednesday morning his body arrived at his native village. Hundreds of villagers had converged at the village to pay tributes to Bilal. Kangan MLA Mehar Ali said that Bilal belonged to very poor family and was earning livelihood at national capital. "The government will provide him compensation." The villagers requested the central government that Bilal became the victim of terrorism. "He had gone to Delhi to earn livelihood for his family. They always waited for his earnings but today his deadbody reached the village. He too became victim of terror," said one of his neighbours. htc...
