Dharamshala, Nov. 18 -- Four people were killed and one was injured after two motorcycles collided head-on in the Amb area of Una district in Himachal Pradesh, police said on Monday. The four deceased have been identified as Asav, 19, Rohan, Ivran, all from Amb and Nikhil Kumar, 22, from Chandigarh, police said. Meanwhile, the injured, Amit Kumar, who is also from Chandigarh is undergoing treatment. The incident occurred near Kalruhi bridge on the Amb-Mubarikpur road on Sunday night. The rider of both bikes died on the spot. Two of the three injured, who were taken to PGI from Amb district hospital, for treatment, succumbed to their injuries there. Amit Kumar, in his complaint, told police that he and his friend Nikhil Kumar (22) were returning home after paying obeisance at the Baglamukhi Temple on a motorcycle. Nikhil was driving while he was the pillion rider. When they reached near Kalruhi around 10.30 pm on Sunday, another motorcycle with three occupants came at high speed and hit them. Nikhil and Asav (both were driving) died on the spot. Two injured were taken to PGIMER, where they died on Monday.
