Srinagar, March 6 -- The Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) on Thursday urged the Government of India to take urgent steps to enable the safe return of Kashmiri students studying in Iran, voicing concern over nearly 1,200 students who are still awaiting a way back home. In a statement, chief spokesperson of AIP Inam Un Nabi said the prevailing uncertainty has created distress among families in Kashmir, many of whom remain anxious about the well-being of their children. Nabi called upon the authorities to arrange a secure transit for the students from Iran to a neighbouring country where the airspace is functional, allowing authorities to organise their onward journey to India without delay. htc...
