Drug peddler's assets worth Rs.1.5 cr attached in Udhampur
Jammu, May 21 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday attached property worth Rs.1.5 crore belonging to a notorious drug peddler in Udhampur district, said officials.
The attached property belonged to Mohammad Asif, a resident of Hartaryan village in Udhampur, and includes three trucks and a Bolero car, a police spokesperson said, adding that its estimated market value in Rs.1 .5 crore.
"Udhampur police attached moveable property valued at Rs.1.5 crore belonging to a drug peddler under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act," the spokesperson added.
Asif was nominated in a case registered under the NDPS Act at Rehambal police station....
