Chennai, April 12 -- Tamil Nadu minister K Ponmudy was on Friday removed as the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK)'s deputy general secretary following an uproar over his vulgar comments about women, Shaivites and Vaishnavites.
