Jammu, Oct. 11 -- Reacting to the Congress party's decision to boycott the October 24 block development council polls, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s Jammu and Kashmir unit president Ravinder Raina on Thursday said the grand old party was promoting the Pakistan agenda by doing so.

At a press conference in Jammu on Thursday, Raina said, "The Congress party's registration must be cancelled its acts are weakening the democracy."

The Congress had decided to boycott the polls, citing the "indifferent" attitude of the state. The National Conference (NC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are also uncertain of contesting the polls in wake of the detention of their senior leaders.htc
