SHIMLA, Oct. 11 -- Congress on Thursday has filed a complaint against Himachal Pradesh legislative assembly speaker Dr Rajiv Bindal for allegedly violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in the Pachhad constituency.
Congress on Thursday filed a complaint with the Election Commission of India.
State Congress chief Kuldeep Singh Rathore said, "If Dr Bindal is interested in politics then he should resign as speaker of the state."He said Dr Bindal should uphold dignity of post of speaker.
"He is actively participating in the election campaign BJP in Nahan which is a violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC)," he added.
