Dharamshala, Nov. 27 -- Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday visited Patialkar village in the Nagrota Bagwan of Kangra district to condole the death of Wing Commander Namansh Syal, who died in Tejas crash at Dubai air show. The CM offered prayers for the departed soul and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He assured the family that the State Government stands firmly with them in this hour of grief. The CM said, "The nation has lost a brave son and a courageous pilot in this tragic incident. Every Himachali is proud of his indomitable courage, sense of duty and dedicated service to the nation. His supreme sacrifice will always be remembered by the country." Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition, Jai Ram Thakur, along with the BJP MLA group, also visited the ancestral home of Wing Commander Namnash Syal in Patialkar, to pay tribute and express his condolences. He said that Wing Commander Namansh Syal was a highly talented and courageous pilot. "The country has lost a very capable soldier and son, a loss that is impossible to compensate for. The pain in the family's eyes, and the silence that prevailed despite the presence of people at the doorstep, was deeply painful," he said.
