Srinagar, Feb. 20 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted a search operation at the office of a senior government officer at the Srinagar civil secretariat on Wednesday. Officials didn't reveal details about the raids, but people familiar with the development said the raid was in connection with some case registered by the agency. They said these raids were part of an ongoing investigation into an arms licence scam wherein hundreds of gun licences were issued by many senior officers "in lieu of money"....
