Srinagar, April 24 -- Baramulla police have set up a dedicated anonymous tip line to bolster efforts against drug abuse and trafficking, urging citizens to report illicit activities without fear of their identity being disclosed. Informants can provide confidential leads by contacting the tip line at 95967 67701. A police spokesperson said that all identities will be kept strictly confidential, noting that the hotline is under the direct supervision and personal custody of the Baramulla senior superintendent of police, Gurinderpal Singh. Residents are encouraged to use the service to report drug peddling, substance abuse, or any suspicious behaviour in their neighbourhoods. The initiative is designed to increase public involvement in dismantling local narcotics networks and fostering a safer community.
