Shimla, Sept. 11 -- Five persons, including four students, and the principal of Sarasvati Vidya Mandir, Panohi in Shimla's Sunni tehsil, sustained injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in plunged into a gorge near Paniyali village, police said on Wednesday. The injured have been identified as principal Devi Chand, 75, Sumit Kumar, 11, Diya Devi, 10, Hardik, 8, Raman, 10 . According to reports, the accident occurred on Wednesday, when Devi Chand, along with eight students was on their way to school. He lost control of the vehicle, thus resulting in accident. Locals rushed to the spot and rescued the injured. Police said a case under Section 281 (rash driving) and 125 (A)(endangering human life or personal safety) of BNS 2023 has been registered.htc...
