Shimla, Sept. 16 -- Five persons, including a woman, were killed after a vehicle they were travelling in rolled down a gorge in Kotkhai area of Shimla district, police said on Monday. Four persons died on the spot while another succumbed while being taken to a hospital. As per the police, Joginder Singh, along with Nepali labourers Rajesh Bisht and Ekendra Shahi, died on the spot. Four others-Nav Bahadur, Sajan, Laxmi and Dil Bahadur Shahi-were rushed to the CHC, Kotkhai. During treatment, Laxmi succumbed to her injuries, while Dil Bahadur died later at IGMC Shimla while two were discharged from the hospital after treatment. A case has been registered at the Kotkhai police station under Sections 281 and 106(1) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita.
