woman kills her two children, attempts suicide in Bhilwara
Jaipur, Jan. 13 -- A 35-year-old woman in Bhilwara had stabbed her two children to death with a nail before attempting suicide, police said on Monday.
Mandalgarh police station house officer Ghanashyam Meena said, "The incident took place on Sunday when the woman's husband had gone out of the house for some work. The motive behind her action is yet not clear. Apparently, she was very close to her children and was psychologically stable. We are probing the matter."
On Sunday night, the woman suddenly called her husband and told him she had killed their children - Neha (12) and Bheru (7). "Sanju's husband immediately called some of his neighbours and asked them to check on her. When they reached the spot, the two children lay in a pool of blood while the woman lay unconscious," Meena said.
Rescuers rushed the woman to a nearby hospital, where she remains under treatment. "The bodies of the two children have been sent for autopsy. Prima facie, she stabbed them multiple times with a sharp, bloodstained nailm which we recovered from the site," Meena said.
Police booked the woman under section 103(1) (murder) of the BNS based on her father-in-law's statement....
