BArmer, Oct. 8 -- A 37-year-old woman was allegedly murdered on Monday evening, police said on Tuesday, adding that a suspect, whose identity has been withheld, was detained in connection with the incident. The incident occured in Sutharon ki Dhani, under the Sedwa police station's jurisdiction, at around 6pm, said police, adding that the victim - Mamta, was alone at home at the time. Her husband, Beeja Ram, operated a handicrafts manufacturing unit in Jaipur, said police, adding that the body was found by her eldest son after his return from school. Mamta was found lying in a pool of blood with serious head injuries, said SP Narendra Singh Meena. Bloodstains were found on the walls, he added.
