Jaipur, Nov. 15 -- BJP state president Madan Rathore on Friday said the party accepts the mandate delivered by the people in the Anta Assembly bypoll, where the Congress secured a decisive victory.
Addressing reporters at the party office, Rathore said the defeat would be thoroughly reviewed to identify where the BJP fell short and what mistakes were made.
He said the party will introspect and make necessary improvements. "We accept the mandate given by the people. We will analyse where we went wrong, where we lacked, and after reviewing everything, we will work to rectify those shortcomings," Rathore said.
Extending congratulations to Congress' Pramod Jain Bhaya on his win, Rathore said he hopes the newly elected MLA lives up to the trust placed in him by voters. He added that although the BJP government has undertaken several development works in Rajasthan, the party failed to effectively communicate these achievements to the public.
"We were not able to make people aware of development work done in the state. Despite our workers' efforts, we could not even capitalise on major projects like ERCP. Various misconceptions took root, and we could not dispel them. The Congress created confusion, and we failed to counter it," he stated.
"This result also teaches us what improvements are needed within the organisation and the wider family. We will take it as an opportunity to learn and correct ourselves," he added....
