TS fans in India, collectively known as ARMY, are abuzz after group member Kim Taehyung, popularly known as V, appeared to hint that the K-pop supergroup could include India in its 2026 world tour.
During a live chat with fans on Saturday, the vocalist greeted an Indian fan with the message: "Namaste, Indian ARMY. See you next year." The brief remark was enough to send social media into overdrive, with many celebrating what they believe could be BTS's first official concert stop in the country.
Within hours, hashtags such as #BTSinIndia and #DesiArmyWeDidIt began trending, as fans shared reaction videos, countdown posts, edits and celebration graphics across platforms.
While there has been no official confirmation yet from the band's agency, the comment has fuelled hopes among Indian ARMY, already riding a wave of excitement after fellow member Jungkook launched his first official exhibition in India earlier this month. His showcase, GOLDEN: The Moments, is currently on at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai till January 11, 2026, offering fans an immersive look into his solo album journey with exclusive merchandise and photo zones.
If confirmed, the India stop would mark a major milestone for BTS and their massive South Asian fanbase, one that has long campaigned online for a tour date in the country.
