Transporter abducted in Kotputli, rescued
Alwar, Dec. 17 -- A transport businessman was abducted after his office was vandalised by a group of miscreants late Monday night in Kotputli district, though police later rescued the victim safely and launched a search operation to arrest the accused.
According to police, the incident took place late in the evening when a group of around half a dozen individuals arrived in multiple vehicles at a transport office, located on the highway in Kotputli. The accused allegedly damaged the office and forcibly abducted the transporter.
Kotputli DSP Rajendra Burdak said the police acted swiftly and managed to rescue the businessman safely late at night. "During preliminary questioning, it emerged that the dispute stemmed from a financial transaction between the transporter and the accused. Tensions had been brewing between the two sides for some time," he said.
"A case has been registered. Separate teams have been deployed to track down and arrest the accused. They will be apprehended soon and the entire incident will be thoroughly investigated," Burdak said....
