Trainee SI struck by train in Dausa, dies
Bharatpur, Sept. 17 -- A trainee police sub inspector was killed after being hit by a running train in Dausa district, police said on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as 27-year-old Rajendra Saini, native of Ballabgarh under Bhusawar police station in Bharatpur, while his family was already settled in Kherli in Alwar.
The incident occurred on Monday night around at 10 pm on Dausa junction platform number 2 where police received information about a man who was hit by a train while crossing the railway track
CCTV footage shows he was crossing the track while using mobile phone. The police have started an investigation, officers aware of the matter confirmed. The body of the deceased sub-inspector was handed over to family members after post-mortem.
Sudhir Kumar Sharma, Dausa city kotwali police station in-charge said that he reached Dausa city by train to meet his brother to give him monthly expenses,who was living here in a rented room to prepare for competitive exams....
