India, Dec. 5 -- T iger Shroff's love for football is well known, and the actor has now lent his support to Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis's Project Mahadeva - a statewide grassroots football initiative for under-13 boys and girls. The programme aims to build a strong pipeline of young players, with the long-term goal of ensuring that India's 2034 FIFA World Cup squad features at least five athletes from Maharashtra. Speaking about joining the initiative, Tiger says, "I've always loved football; it's genuinely my favourite sport. When I learned about Project Mahadeva and the kind of grassroots impact the Maharashtra government is driving, it immediately felt like something I wanted to be part of. If my presence can motivate even a few young athletes, that's a huge privilege for me." He adds that interacting with young players across the state has been inspiring. "Their energy is unbelievable. They're disciplined, hungry to learn and so passionate. Spending time with them reminded me why initiatives like these matter, they give real talent a chance to shine."...
